About This Exhibition
This exhibition honors the life and work of Ted Arnold, a multi-talented artist who participated in the Portland, Maine art community for many years, showing work at Greenhut Galleries, Susan Maach Fine Art, and Davidson & Daughters Contemporary Art. He had numerous exhibitions at the Maine Jewish Museum, where he was a beloved friend.
About the Artist
Ted Arnold’s career in painting spanned 45 years. He received a B.A. in Visual Studies at Dartmouth College in 1978, where he was awarded the Ames Award and the Marcus Heiman Achievement Award. Ted has been represented by numerous galleries including the Hatley Martin Gallery and Catherine Clark Gallery in San Francisco, CA. He moved to Portland, ME in 1996 and has been represented and shown in many local galleries. His work includes oil paintings, mixed media and sculpture.
