Fashion, Food, and Fun(d)raiser: A Celebration of Our Diverse Community is so much more than “just” a fashion show. During a time of dangerous divisiveness, this Event brings together Mainers of disparate races, religions, ethnicities, genders, ages, sizes, and physical abilities in a spirit of belonging. The outfits our designers create for our models to rock on the runway communicate messages across time, culture, and language. The stories we wear are individual and authentic, and they also connect us at the most fundamental level. When you support this Event, you play a vital role in realizing our mission to build on the Maine Jewish immigrant experience to foster appreciation and understanding among people of all backgrounds.
