Sue Michlovitz
June 29 – August 25
Maine Jewish Museum
Water is restorative and vital in all its forms. The paradox of water is in its character as peaceful yet invigorating, both life-giving and life-threatening. Sue Michlovitz’s photographic images, shown in both her prints and a fine art book, embrace these contradictions.
Sue Michlovitz is a visual artist working in photography, artist books and mixed media. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Media Arts at Maine Media College, Rockport, Maine. Michlovitz serves as a Trustee for the Center of Maine Contemporary Art, Rockland, ME. Her first career as a clinician and professor of physical therapy informs her artist approach to observations.
