Photographer Steve Horowitz honors the victims and first responders of 9/11 with the images in this pop-up exhibition.
About the Artist
Steve Horowitz is a retired neurology physician and professor living in Maine. While living in NYC, he photographed the World Trade Center from different perspectives. After 9/11 and the ensuing world crises, he viewed it as the Center of the World. To visualize this concept and memorialize the victims and first responders, he created these montages combining celestial antique map representations and views of lower Manhattan with his photographs.
