About This Exhibition

Andy Rosen’s exhibition features paintings, mixed media and kinetic sculpture. His works often
utilize unconventional, impractical or even absurd methods of construction to explore a range
of expressions of a craving for psychological interiority

About the Artist

Andy Rosen holds an MFA from the University of Iowa and a BFA from Alfred University. His work has
appeared in exhibitions and as public sculpture nationally and internationally including the
Portland Museum of Art (Portland, ME), Jim Kempner Fine Arts (New York,NY), Tacoma
Museum of Art (Tacoma, WA), Cuchifritos Gallery (New York,NY), Pulse Art Fair (Miami, FL), and
Tetra Projects Mytilene, Greece.

Rosen’s art practice extends to teaching. He lives in South Portland with his family.
