Joanne Tarlin

About This Exhibition
This exhibition is about life. Using imagery from her surrounding environment and experiences, Tarlin portrays her responses to chaos and crimes in the world. The wild seas and screaming winds downing trees and ripping up docks from their moorings, delicate ephemeral flowers blooming on forest floors that meet a crumbling coast, and tenacious shrubs and plants whose roots dangle in the salt water are symbolic. With these images, Tarlin bears witness and presents opportunities.
