About This Exhibition
Maine’s dramatic coast and the wildlife it harbors can inspire awe and an appreciation of the transcendent akin to the religious experiences some have felt after following various Jewish practices. This exhibit entwines awe-inspiring moments in nature featured in the artist’s photobook and memoir writings, with brief explanations of relevant Jewish nature-based practices and concepts also aimed at inspiring awe.
