Collaborating artists Masha Ryskin and Serge Marchetta will be in the Fineberg Room to talk about their current MJM exhibition, Traces. Their work deals with themes of memory, displacement, and the passage of time. This show is informed by observations of Etz Chaim Synagogue in Portland and Congregation Beth Israel in Bangor, Maine’s oldest synagogue.

About This Exhibition
Masha Ryskin is a Jewish immigrant from the former Soviet Union. The two artists have been collaborating since 2011 and developing themes that deal with memory, displacement, and passage of time.
