10:00 am – 11:30 am
For the second year in a row, Hadassah and MJM are combining forces in our joint Book Group. This month, we will be meeting at a Book Group member’s private home to discuss The Last of the Doughboys by Richard Rubin… and the author will be dropping in to say hello, answer questions, and autograph your book! Detailing the author’s decade-long odyssey to track down living American veterans of World War I and tell the stories of these final survivors, The Last of the Doughboys is more than simply a war story: it is a moving meditation on character, grace, aging, and memory.
Join fellow bibliophiles at the Museum for lively discourse and warm camaraderie… and if you have not yet had the opportunity to read the book, you are still welcome to join us and see if this is something you want to add to your reading list!
RSVP to o confirm attendance and obtain the address of our meeting place.
