It’s baaaaaack — with a new twist! The beloved MJM X Hadassah Book Group is now combining forces with Rimon, the new Portland Women’s Jewish Group at the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine!

In January, we will meet at a Book Group member’s private home to discuss On Being Jewish Now: Reflections from Authors and Advocates, edited by Zibby Owens. In this intimate, poignant, and hopeful anthology, 75 contributors speak to Jewish joy, celebration, laughter, food, trauma, loss, love, and family in the aftermath of October 7, along with the common threads that course through the Jewish people: resilience and humor.

Registration is free, but required. Registrants will receive location information the day before the event.
